Reinforcement: Students group to give each other honest feedback without letting personal biases interfere with the evaluation of the poem’s content.

Wrap-up: Students enhance the visual appearance of their poems by adding background images, pictures, and photos.

Day 3, a Week Later

Wrap-up: Mr. Pratt has graded and returned the poems. Students have put the final tweaks on them. Now, volunteers read their poems before the class and/or school assembly. Mr. Pratt collects the poems and publishes them in a booklet for the class. A student sample follows.
